St. Ann's Church on Dublin's Dawson Street will host an afternoon of free classical music at 1.15 pm on Thursday 21st August, featuring works from Brittan, Elgar, Parry and the famed Peter Warlock.

Billed as a 'hedonistic' composer, Warlock is known for coining a set of dances he called Capriol but also gained significant notoriety at the time for living a life his peers deemed morally corrupt, engaging in sex, drugs and the occult en masse during his 36 years on earth.

Giving life to the music will be the talented collective known as the Carice Singers from the UK and the tour will also visit St. Canice's in Kilkenny and St. John's Cathedral in Limerick to conclude a trio of excellent concerts.

This is well worth your attention and, hey, it's also free. You've no excuse not to go!
