British TV legend Rik Mayall has made it into the top ten in the UK singles charts a week after his passing with his song 'Noble England', a song originally released for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Mayall's track was subject to a huge social media campaign to get it charting following the comedian's sudden death last Monday and it landed directly in at #7 in the official charts. The track failed to chart upon its initial release four years ago.
Frank Skinner and David Baddiel's 'Three Lions' continues to be a royalty cash-cow for the duo, returning to the charts at #27 and will presumably do so again whenever the next football tournament for England to underachieve in begins.
Ella Henderon's debut single 'Ghost' topped the UK charts.
