Television, the iconic New York band best known for their seminal 1977 album 'Marquee Moon', will play Dublin's Academy in June.
The band, led by guitarist/vocalist Tom Verlaine, last played Dublin's Vicar Street several years ago, but they will return on June 12th for an infinitely more intimate gig at The Academy.
First formed in 1973, they are said to be recording a new album which is currently 'half-finished'. Their last studio album was 1992's 'Television'.
Tickets are €32 including booking fee and on sale tomorrow at 9am from usual outlets.
