The owners of Le Bataclan in Paris have announced the re-opening of the venue where 89 people died in a terrorist attack last November.
In a statement released on Facebook yesterday, they said that renovation work on the venue had begun, and although an exact opening date had not yet been set, the first names to play the venue had been announced.
"We're going to try to preserve its warmth and friendliness," they said of the renovations. "We want to maintain the spirit that has always been here."
Libertines frontman Peter Doherty will play on November 16th, Youssou N'Dour will play on November 18th, American rock band Nada Surf will play on December 2nd and MZ will play on December 3rd.
Doherty has spent time living in Paris in the past.
More acts will be announced in the near future.
