Unless you've been living in a cave you've probably heard Nickelback's catchy single 'How You Remind Me' on the airwaves and MTV almost non-stop. If you decided to buy their recent album based on the strength of this single you will probably be dissapointed. While 'How You Remind Me' sticks in your head in a good way most of the time, the rest of the album descends into commercialized grunge. The formula is quite complete as well with plenty of loud-soft dynamics, power ballads and lyrics that comment on trauma topics. Still with big, beefy, rugged guitars and hard-hitting drum beats, it's likely that world domination will be theirs whether you like it or not.
