James Vincent McMorrow has been fairly quiet over the last while as he works on his third album, the follow-up to 2014's 'Post Tropical'.

However, the Dubliner is stepping out of the shadows tonight for a super-intimate acoustic gig at Dublin's Ruby Sessions.

The long-running gig night, which is held in Doyle's pub on College Street, is famous for staging big names in its small space; people like Ed Sheeran and Mumford & Sons have played it in the past.

Tonight's gig is in aid of Dublin Simon Community and entry is €6 on the door - but best start queuing early, as it's bound to be a popular one and space is obviously limited.
