The extremely excellent Hem have recently released a highly acclaimed album in Rabbit Songs. The album is a true labour of love; founder member Dan found himself selling off most of his personal possessions so he could afford the 18 piece orchestras, and luxury of being as painstaking as everybody wanted over the arrangements. No samples, no synths, no Pro-Tools mixing and no digital studio wizardry were employed. Rabbit Songs is an old school album, recorded the old school way.
