Lance Bass has made himself a walking target for the fury of Directioners everywhere by claiming that Harry Styles will be the next member of One Direction to quit.

Bass, of course, has form in the boyband world: he was a member of *NSync (i.e. the boyband known as 'the one that Justin Timberlake used to be in').

Appearing as a guest on the Meredith Viera Show, Bass said: "I just see Harry [Styles] leaving soon, and I don't see another One Direction album happening after he leaves… Harry Styles has been ready to go solo for many months. The Zayn thing was just spur-of-the-moment, but it was the best thing [Zayn] could have done because now he's a household name."
