The BBC Sound of 2015 winner has been announced.
London electro-poppers Years & Years have landed the top spot, surprising many who assumed that singer-songwriter James Bay would be named the successor to Sam Smith, who won the top spot in 2014. Bay was the eventual runner-up, but Years & Years also beat off competition from George the Poet, Stormzy and Raury, who were all in the top 5.
The trio are signed to Polydor and will release their debut album this year.
