Antony Hegarty - the voice of Antony and the Johnsons and frequent collaborator with everyone from Bjork to Hercules and Love Affair to Yoko Ono - has announced details of a new solo album.
'Hopelessness' is the follow-up to 2010's 'Swanlights' and will be released later in the year, with an exact date TBC.
Revealing the album via a Facebook post, Hegarty said that the album had been co-produced by Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never, was in the mixing stage at the moment, and is "an electronic record with some sharp teeth."
The album will also be released under a new moniker: "My name for this project is ANOHNI," the post read.
The post was accompanied by an image showing a fragment of a painting (below), leading fans to speculate that it may be part of the album artwork.
