Amy Winehouse's father has been very vocal about his feelings on the documentary 'Amy', which has been universally applauded and won Best Documentary at the Oscars on Sunday night.

Before the film was even released, Mitch Winehouse told The Sun that he "felt sick when I watched it for the first time. Amy would be furious. This is not what she would have wanted.” He also told The Guardian that the filmmakers Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees were "trying to portray me in the worst possible light."

After the film won, he reiterated his opinion, saying:

When collecting the award on Sunday, director Kapadia said: " We just wanted to make a film to show the world who she really was."
