2016 is definitely Adele's year.

Already, the singer's latest album has broken records and now has topped the BRIT Awards nominations with Adele scooping four nominations in total across Best Solo Artist, Album, Best Single and Best Video. Meanwhile, our own U2 are up for International Group in a category that includes Eagles of Death Metal, Alabama Shakes and Tame Impala.

Meanwhile, James Bay landed in four categories as well, including Best Breakthrough Act and Best Male Solo Artist.
