The fact that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul is pretty common knowledge at this stage, but now the man who gave us Walter White have revealed that he's considering bringing some old favourites back into the fold.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter for a special profile article, Gilligan and co-executive producer Peter Gould began revealing a few finer details about the upcoming show. While telling the Reporter that the show, initially pitched as a half-hour comedy, was going to be a series of hour-long episodes Gilligan hinted that we might just see a few more familiar faces.

"Personally, I'd have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then", Gilligan revealed, no doubt delighting millions of Breaking Bad fans worldwide in the process. We can't help but wonder if he'd include Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in that....

You can expect plenty of laughter and the odd bit of drama from the Bob Odenkirk led spinoff: It'll be set in the lawyer's Albuquerque offices and aim to bring the best of both worlds together in a 75 per cent comedy, 25 per cent drama package. "We’ve had to find the ongoing itch that Saul needs to scratch, so to speak, or else we wouldn’t have much of a show," Gilligan explained.

Oh and if you're wondering when to expect the show on your TV screens don't despair: It seems as though late summer/ early autumn 2014 is AMC's target.
