If there's one man that had millions of us tuning into Grey's Anatomy in the early days it was Patrick Dempsey, so we're sure there'll be plenty of hearts skipping a beat when they hear what he's been saying about his future at Seattle Grace.
Y'see Dr McDreamy has yet to sign on the dotted line for the 11th Season and when asked about his future on the show by TVLine he didn't exactly sound too sure that he'd definitely be back."We're talking - we'll see what happens," he said. "Everything is open to a conversation at this point. Grey's has been such a remarkable ride."
The actor went on to explain that he's enjoying the show more than ever at the moment, and said it certainly would be "a shame" if he didn't return. Ah heyor Patrick, if that's not a 'it depends on how much they're going to pay me' we don't know what is. In fairness though, he could just be holding out for better storylines too...
If Dempsey does go it'll mark another big loss for the series, which says goodbye to Sandra Oh at the end of Season 10.
Could Mer survive without Der? Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
