She pretty much stole the show on Graham Norton last Friday, so we're guessing June Brown won't be long stealing Cliff Richard's thunder when the pair make appearances on The Late Late Show this Friday night.
RTE has just revealed that Cliff and June will lead the bill, which also features Downton Abbey star Allen Leech, who's home to promote his new thriller flick In Fear. He's an adorable one is Alan, but we have a feeling he'll have a hard time keeping up with those two. Then again, you never know, stranger things have happened. Sure wouldn't they make a rather interesting trio?
It's no surprise to hear that Cliff's rocking up: He's just announced that he'll be coming to Dublin, Cork and Belfast next year on tour, while reminding hosts on every show he's appeared on that he is in fact Number 2 (after One Direction) in the calendar sales rankings. "I am cool because I am still successful" he told BBC Breakfast this morning, "after all this year One Direction still have to compete with me." Oh, and then there's the small matter of his 100th album, which just so happens to be released this week too. He's some man for one man, wha?
It's not all about the international crowd though (except our Allen, of course - we can't have the UK pinching him now can we?) There's a real treat for Irish music fans too as The Blades will perform Downmarket.
Why do we have a feeling this will be just as surreal as last week's Graham Norton?
Catch all the action on RTE One on Friday night from 9.35pm.
