We've spent the last few days talking about the Red Wedding on Monday night's Game of Thrones, so Conan O'Brien figured it was only fair to show author George RR Martin a sample of the fan reactions to the scene he'd written almost 13 years ago, in order to give the author a taste of the misery he had inflicted upon the fandom.
The Game of Thrones mastermind seemed to take the whole thing in good spirits, laughing along and choosing one particular response to the scene as his favourite. You can check the segment out just below.
As we said, Martin wrote this part of the tale almost 13 years ago, so he was more than ready for the backlash after the weekend's dramatic events. If you still haven't seen it, we won't spoil it for you, but you will want to throw things at him when you're done.
