We may have 15 new episodes of Arrested Development on Netflix to look forward to, but it looks as though we'll be waiting a long time to see Michael and the errr, rather dysfunctional Bluth family on the big screen.
Series Creator Mitch Hurwitz was speaking about the plans for a feature film project rather recently, and said he's fully confident that it will go ahead, but Jason Bateman has admitted that fans could be waiting quite a while for it to happen. "[The new episodes ask] a bunch of questions that then the movie answers, so it's kind of a package," Bateman told I Am Rogue."Unfortunately, there's probably gonna be about a year, maybe a year-and-a-half gap between the two, so you'll end up having to watch these episodes again" he explained. I doubt dedicated AD fans will be complaining about that.
It's unfortunate that we're going to have to wait so long, but sure here's some teaser posters for the upcoming Netflix series for you to enjoy.
Catch all 15 episodes on Netflix from 8:01am on May 26th.
