She may always be Cher from 'Clueless' to a generation of '90s kids, but Alicia Silverstone has clocked up some impressive roles in recent years - including in The Killing of a Sacred Deer alongside Colin Farrell.

Her latest TV series sees her take the lead in 'American Woman', which follows the story of three best friends (Silverstone, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels) in Beverly Hills in the 1970s, discovering their independence as they struggle with raising families amid the rise of second-wave feminism in LA.

The series was inspired by the real-life story of Kyle Richards, a name you'll recognise if you've ever watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

It premieres on June 7th on US network Paramount, but you can watch the trailer below now:
