What can't The Simpson do 'ey? Now in its 25th season, the show is still on the ball when it comes to referencing all the best of pop culture.

This week's episode sees them paying a rather elaborate tribute to Japaneses animation 'Anime', following the news in September that legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki is retiring.

Miyazaki was behind award winning films such as 'My Neighbor Totoro' and 'Spirited Away' and the episode on Sunday is packed with references to his work.

From the clip below, it looks like Homer and a friend are in some kind of mad trippy anime hallucination, which sees Otto turning into the bus he drives and Patty and Selma flying by on brooms. Mad shit altogether. You'll really just need to see this for yourselves.
