It looks like old habits die hard for Carrie Mathison as she continues to butt heads with her CIA superiors in the first trailer for Homeland season 6.
Set in New York, season 6 sees the show return to US soil for the first time since season 3 of the show having spent the last two seasons in Iraq and Germany respectively.
Despite the change in setting, there are familiar undercurrents throughout the trailer with suggestions of a new threat to US security and a disagreement between Carrie (Claire Danes) and Dar (F. Murray Abraham) on how best to deal with it.
Saul (Mandy Patinkin) also features heavily and there's a glimpse of Sebastian Koch, who played Otto Düring in season five. Anyone who's seen the excellent The Lives of Others will know how the extent of Koch's talents so it's great to see he'll have some part to play in season six.
There's no sign of Rupert Friend's Quinn in this trailer but it has been confirmed that he will be a part of season six.
