Stephen Colbert gave us the late night reunion we didn't know we needed last night by hosting an evening alongside all his former co-workers from 'The Daily Show' and reminded us of just how good it actually was.
The show opened with Jon Stewart revealing what his new day job was before sitting down with Colbert to talk about the state of the nation, bringing up Stephen's recent trouble and talking about James Comey and whether or not he misses his old gig.
It was like a warm hug from an old friend (who somehow thinks that teaming a shirt and tie with jeans is acceptable daywear but we'll let that slide seeing as he lives on a farm now).
Colbert also managed to fit into his show with "flashback" to his last day at 'The Daily Show' in 2005, with former colleagues Samantha Bee, Jon Stewart, Ed Helms, Rob Corddry and "Steve Carell" all showing up to remind us how much of a simpler time it was back then.
Later, Colbert and the gang sat down morning TV style for a weird and wonderful trip down memory lane, looking back on their favourite and not-so-favourite moments working on 'The Daily Show' under Jon Stewart.
