After what seemed like an eternity, Graham Norton is finally back on our screens.
The show returned in rare form and with Norton, still completely holding onto that beard, chatting to The Martian stars Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain as well as comedian Bill Bailey.
One of the first topics up for discussion was, naturally, Matt Damon's infamous ponytail that sent most of the Internet into a (groan) tailspin. As he explains it, it wasn't real - just hair extensions - although he does have new-found appreciation for maintaining long hair with extensions, so that's something.
Damon also chatted briefly about the upcoming fifth Bourne movie, although he didn't drop any details when asked by Norton. It's actually tough to imagine it, but Matt Damon's 45 and to be throwing himself off buildings and being chased, as he explained it, is gonna be taxing.
We're also noting that Damon looks a helluva lot leaner than we've seen him in quite a while. We're guessing he's still in Bourne-mode, which might explain why he seemed a little off and not as lively as he was that time Bill Murray turned up with Hugh Bonneville from Downton Abbey.
Overall, a very decent return to the show. Let's hope for some livelier guests next week. Either that or give them more booze, whichever works.
