You may be waiting a while to see the Avengers back on the big screen, but it seems as though those Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be more than willing to help you pass the time. The TV show, which was first screened during Pilot Season, has been picked up by Disney's ABC, and will run for a full series.
If you sneak a peek at that there trailer, you'll get a hint of what's in store. Expect action, cars, explosions, and the return of Clark Gregg's Agent Phil Coulson. We're guesing Captain America just hasn't happened yet, if you know what we mean (No spoilers!).
ER's Ming-Na Wen is among the supporting cast, which also features Brett Dalton (Killing Lincoln), Chloe Bennet (Nashville) and Iain De Caestecker (In Fear). Seems Cobie Smulders will be too busy working on the final series of How I Met Your Mother to join the cast for now, but we're hoping she'll pop up at some point.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hits US TV screens this autumn.
