Fox have been busy. Last night they unleashed no less than twelve trailers for shows they're debuting / rehashing (hellew, Prison Break) including The Exorcist, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (starring OITNB's Laverne Cox as Frankenfurter), 24: Legacy (that being the reboot of Sutherland starrer 24), Making History, hybrid live-action/animated comedy Son of Zorn, and The Mick...
The trailer we're most enthused by, however, is the one The Hollywood Reporter led with in their extensive trailer fest article - the reboot of Lethal Weapon. Clayne Crawford gives it his all as Riggs, while Damon Wayans is suitably stoic as Murtagh. From what we can see, the below trailer sticks pretty closely to first movie's plot line, with a particularly heart wrenching montage devoted to Riggs' wife - an insight into why he's batsh*t crazy.Â
The other trailers worth your time include The Exorcist - starring Alfonso Herrera (The Chosen), Ben Daniels (House of Cards) and Geena Davis (no intro required)...
The Rocky Horror Picture Show...
24: Legacy...
Son of Zorn...
And Prison Break...
Yes, it'd be nice if networks were concentrating on brand new innovative shows instead of re-visiting, re-imagining, and rebooting the back catalogue, but as reboots go, they look pretty exciting.Â
