Hader will be straddling the line between absurdity and reality in this new eight-part series that looks like a guaranteed hit.
Billed as a dark comedy (being an assassin for hire was never going to be light now was it), Hader plays depressed, low-rent hitman Barry, who reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an aspiring actor and after following his target into an acting class, ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theater scene.
From there, the action really begins as Barry tries to quit hit hitman career to become an actor but it's not going to let go of him that easily.
Also starring Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Carrigan and Henry Winkler (yes, Fonzie), this has every mark of being our new favourite show.
'Barry' premieres on HBO on March 25th and is set to air here on Sky Atlantic this April.
