The presenters of Top Gear have been scouting around to see who will snap them up, and it seems that Netflix are interested in working with the trio.
Clarkson, Hammond and May have been in discussions with Netflix about a new show, and already apparently have a title in the works that will see them give a tip of the cap to one of the streaming service's most popular shows, House of Cards.
According to The Mirror, they would call the show House of Cars (see what they've done there?) because it would be a TV show about cars. Presumably they'll drive a car into a house at some stage to make the whole title make sense.
They are also believed to be in talks with ITV, but advertising conflicts could be a problem, according to "A. Source". Man, that guy always has the hottest news, where does he get it? Anyway, Mr. Source posited the following hypothetical scenario to the paper as an illustration of the point that he was making: "what would they do if Jaguar or Volvo had a sponsorship deal but they wanted to berate its latest new car? Jeremy doesn't like being told what to do. It could cause huge arguments".
Clarkson doesn't like being told what to do you say? We never would have guessed that...
