While the BBC may no longer have room for the former Top Gear hosts (Well, Jeremy Clarkson anyways) it seems ITV are only chomping at the bit to snap them up. Well if it was good enough for Jonathan Ross...
Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are reported to be in talks with the broadcaster along with Top Gear's former executive producer Andy Wilmon.
According to The Guardian, the three presenters met ITV's Director of Television, Peter Fincham, and ITV's Director of Entertainment and Comedy, Elaine Bedell, at Fincham's London home on Wednesday.
Probably worth mentioning too that Fincham was a former controller at the BBC, so old friends and all that.
An ITV spokesman said: "We haven't commented and aren't planning to comment on the continual Top Gear speculation which is swirling around the television industry."
We're not hearing a denial, ITV spokesperson!
Although they won't be able to bring the Top Gear brand with them, they could start a brand new show there... Fifth Gear? No? No.
