For some 'Game of Thrones' fans, the biggest complaint they had with the finale was the way that everything was wrapped up so... well... neatly.
Just like, for example, an '80s teen coming-of-age film, you might say. Perhaps even in the style of John Hughes, the director best known for the likes of 'The Breakfast Club', 'Pretty in Pink' and 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.
Many of Hughes's films ended with a montage that paused with text revealing the fate of the character, and now someone has done the same for the ending of 'Game of Thrones' - with an added helping of mischief.
If you were wondering what happened to everyone after the series ended, watch below. And also, who would've thought that Tears for Fears' 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' could work so well in 'Game of Thrones'?
Say what you will about the #GameOfThronesFinale, the John Hughes homage was a bold choice to end on. pic.twitter.com/kKJrJyV9d7
