The revived sitcom returned to our screens in 2017
It doesn't seem too long ago that 'Will & Grace' was rebooted by NBC, but now the network is closing the door on the sitcom once again.
They've announced that the revived show's forthcoming third new season - and its 11th overall - will be its last. There will be 18 more episodes of the escapades between Grace (Debra Messing) and her gay best friend Will (Eric McCormack). They will debut on NBC in 2020.
The show was originally revived after all of its original stars reunited for a promo video in support of Hilary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2016. Thankfully, the 2017 reboot was more successful than their efforts on that front.
NBC released a statement saying: "When NBC had the opportunity to reconnect this amazing cast and creative team, we jumped at the chance. The impact and legacy of Will & Grace simply can’t be overstated, both as a true game-changer in the portrayal of the LGBTQ community and as one of the finest comedies in television history.
"A huge thank you to [creators] Max [Mutchnick], David [Kohan], Jimmy [Burrows] and a cast that is second to none for their brilliance over an incredible run."
It's not the only sitcom that NBC is canning, either - they've also announced that the next season of 'The Good Place' will be the final one, too.
