Calling back to the likes of John Carpenter, Stranger Things' evocative soundtrack completely threw you back to the '80s. Even the opening titles, with its Stephen King-inspired font, was just fantastic. Can you remember the last time you didn't skip past an opening titles?
Exactly.
Well, it looks as though Netflix has heard your cries from the Upside Down because a soundtrack is finally on its way. The soundtrack, made by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of synthwave outfit S U R V I V E, hasn't been given an official release date, but it's expected to be pretty soon.
If, however, you're looking for the incidental music - that's the songs not specifically made for the show - you're in luck. There's several playlists on Spotify with each and every song used in the series available. In the meantime, we're going to play this on repeat until the soundtrack is released.
