Be honest - did you guess who it was?

After a few long weeks, the finale of 'The Masked Singer' revealed Sausage as the winner of the second season.

Singing 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' by Whitney Houston, Sausage made it through to the second performance of the night where they performed Andra Day's 'Rise Up' against Badger and Robin.

The other two opened with Stevie Wonder's 'For Once In My Life' and Imagine Dragons' 'Believer', but eventually saw Robin unmasked and revealed as none other than JLS singer Aston Merrygold, as numerous people believed.

The final two, however, are another story. Ne-Yo was revealed to be Badger, and said that he had so much doing the show that he'd happily do it again. Buddy, the point is you do it once and then never again. Maybe he's fishing for the US version?

Anyway, Sausage was eventually to be... (drum-roll) Joss Stone, and as it turns out, was heavily pregnant throughout the show. The giant sausage costume apparently concealed her baby-bump the entire time. Still and all, Stone said she was delighted to have won and loved her time on the show. "This has been the funniest, most hilarious job I have ever had," Stone exclaimed.

As you may or may not know, 'The Masked Singer' is filmed months in advance to allow for editing and with COVID-19 measures. Stone recently gave birth to her daughter, Violet, in January of this year which would have made her around five or six months pregnant during the production. If they had a bun costume, that might have been a bit obvious?

Who knows. Anyway, here's the final moments before Sausage was revealed. What a silly, silly show. Exactly the kind of silly nonsense everyone needed, to be honest.
