Pablo Schreiber, better known as Porn-Tasche from 'Orange Is The New Black', is the Master Chief.
Although he'll most likely never reveal his face, the live-action 'Halo' TV series has found its Master Chief in Pablo Schreiber.
Probably best known for playing Porn-Tasche in 'Orange Is The New Black', Schreiber has since appeared in the likes of 'American Gods', 'First Man' along Ryan Gosling, and 'Skyscraper' opposite Dwayne Johnson. The series will follow Master Chief and has been signed for a 10-episode first season at Showtime.
The Master Chief has appeared in all 'Halo' games since 2001 and has become one of the most recognisable videogame characters in recent history.
It's not yet known if the 'Halo' TV series will follow the storyline from the videogame series or if it'll spin off into something different, but it is known that the character of Master Chief will be paired up with " a shrewd, audacious 16-year-old from the Outer Colonies," played by newcomer Yerin Ha.
'Peaky Blinders' director Otto Bathurst is set to direct, with the series set to begin filming in Budapest this Autumn. No air date has been set, but it's understood that the series will likely hit screens in 2020 - just in time for 'Halo Infinite', the next entry into the franchise.
