The series is set to debut on Amazon Prime later this year
With the new Star Trek series set to premiere toward the end of this year, the first teaser trailer for the series has arrived.
'Star Trek: Picard' marks Patrick Stewart's return to his most iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard for the first time in 25 years - at least on TV screens.
It'll be available on Amazon Prime in Ireland, but the network that's responsible for it, CBS, have revealed the first look.
The minute-long teaser shows the former Starfleet captain walking through his vineyard in LaBarre, France as a voiceover says:
“Fifteen years ago today, you led us out of the darkness. You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history — then the unimaginable. What did that cost you? Your faith? Your faith in us? Your faith in yourself? Tell us: why did you leave Starfleet, Admiral?”
