It took both RTE and BBC by storm when it aired earlier this year so we've no doubt that fans of hit drama The Fall will be absolutely delighted to discover what Emmett J Scanlan's been tweeting.
The Irish actor, probably best known for playing Hollyoaks' badboy Brendan Brady, took to his personal Twitter account last night to confirm that they've finally set a date to start filming Series 2 of the thrilling series. "Start shooting The Fall season 2 next February," he wrote. "By the sound of it, it's gonna be f**king awesome. Can't wait..."
Now, that might seem like a long time away to those of us who can't wait to find out what happened next but, as we reported earlier this year, it's not surprising given lead actress Gillian Anderson's hectic schedule. We always knew that filming would depend upon the X Files star's availability.
So, it looks as though we'll be waiting quite a while to see if Jamie Dornan's Paul Spector really did get away with all then, eh?
We'll keep you posted as regards The Fall's expected return date so, for now at least, you'll just have to watch this space.
