If ever there was a signifer that Ireland had lost the run of itself during the Celtic Tiger years, Fade Street was it.

The very idea that Ireland and, specifically, Dublin 2 could compare with the likes of The Hills or Made In Chelsea was utterly, utterly ridiculous. Not only that, you've also got to cope with the fact that there isn't a single person on this island who would give a s**t about what a group of twenty-something men and women got up to on weekends.

Nevertheless, Fade Street became a cultural phenomenon for about five minutes and then was all but gone from our screens. But whatever happened to Julia's dreams of opening a menswear label in London? Did Paul ever get back with Daniella? Did we ever find out precisely why Vogue Williams was called Vogue Williams?

Let's investigate.

VOGUE WILLIAMS - Vogue

It's safe to say Vogue Williams did the best out of the core cast of Fade Street. She moved to Australia shortly after the series ended with her then-husband Brian McFadden and starred in the Australian version of Dancing With The Stars. She also did an ITV rip-off of Dancing With The Stars called Stepping Out and she even turned up on Loose Women once as well. She's got a show on local radio station Spin 103.8 and is doing blogs for Hello Magazine. In between all this, Vogue is sharing her views on the geopolitical situation regarding Donald Trump's intended presidency and totally not posing for photographs on Twitter. She also had a documentary series called Vogue Does... which was sold to TLC, the TV studio behind Breaking Amish, Say Yes To The Dress and Sister Wives.

DANIELLE ROBINSON - Danny

Arguably the alternative one of the group, Danny's relationship with Paul Furlong made up most of the drama / interesting points of the show and concluded when Paul Furlong pushed that guy from Kid Karate away. As you do. Since Fade Street, she's gone full-time into the whole tattooing / body-art thing and is also back in college studying psychology. She's also not with Paul or that guy that Paul pushed away either.

LOUISE JOHNSTON - LoJo

The Lauren Conrad of Fade Street - or least that's what we remember - Louise Johnston went off to work for Lovin' Dublin for a period of time and is now working for Barricade, which does IT security apparently. Seems like she backed away from the reality TV lifestyle fairly sharpish, in fairness.

CLAIRE CAVANAGH - Cici

Since Fade Street ended, Cici's given up the reality TV life for a career as a DJ. She recently played at this year's Body & Soul and has had a few gigs over in Ibiza as well. Did she ever get that band night going in the Thomas House, we wonder? Probably not.

PAUL FURLONG - Paul

Since Fade Street finished, Paul exited the limelight pretty quickly. We checked and there appears to be no Twitter account - fan, parody or otherwise - belonging to Paul Furlong. We did, however, find his Facebook profile. One of his profilers was of a Honda Civic. So, uh, yeah. Looks like he's keeping well.
