So the folks on The Late Late Show, or more specifically the producers and guest bookers have been taking a bit of flack lately for the quality of guest. We'd always say that comparing The Late Late to Graham Norton is silly for numerous reasons. One being that one show is an always light, played for laughs movie plugger (which it does extremely well) and the other is twice as long and tackles serious issues. Apart from that, we sadly also don't have as many movie stars pass through these shores as the London shot Norton.
Anyhow, the producers tried to do something different with a special Valentine's Day episode that saw a single, generally pissed and ready to mingle audience causing havoc as Tubs struggled to keep a straight face. It was something different and it was good fun.
This is how (the always entertaining on these occasions) Twitter reacted.
