If agreed, NBC will donate her salary to charity

Rachel Zane's character could be making a return to 'Suits,' if the TV bosses get their way at least. NBC are keen to get Meghan Markle back to shoot scenes for the show's ninth season.

But now that Meghan Markle is pregnant, and also that slight snag of her being a Royal, could it work? NBC bosses certainly hope so.

It's believed that since Markle and her co-star Patrick J. Adams have departed 'Suits' at the end of season seven, they could potentially make a one-off return in season nine. Season eight of the hit show is due to arrive later this month.

Markle's appearance could potentially fit into the story nicely, with her being happily pregnant, and enjoying her new life living in the UK.

An NBC source has said that the shots would be filmed in the UK and "could be done in half a day or less."

In terms of payment for appearing on the show, NBC will make a donation to charity. The source has said, "No final figure has yet been arrived at, but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future. I've heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around and that sounds a lot – but it would be one of the biggest marketing coups in TV history."

Oh, and what a great marketing coup it would be. Nothing has been confirmed by Meghan Markle or Kensington palace, as of yet; but we'd love to know what The Queen makes of all of this.
