Featuring a former pop star and an Olympic medallist
The dance competition has added its very first contestants for this year's new series.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' lineup for this year's series is filling up this morning, with the announcement of the first six celebrities to be taking on the foxtrot in the newest edition of the reality show. Earlier this year, news broke that the series will be back later this year for less episodes, with the contestants needing to quarantine for a number of weeks.
Here's who has been announced thus far:
The first celebrity to be revealed was 'Men Behaving Badly' star Caroline Quentin. Since the '90s sitcom, the actress has appeared in productions such as 'Doc Martin' and 'Blue Murder'.

American footballer Jason Bell was the first sportsperson to join the 'Strictly' lineup, who is a cornerback in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and New York Giants. He has also done some American Football broadcasting work too.

Former The Wanted singer Max George is the first pop star of the 2020 series. Hopes are high for him, as he is following in the footsteps of his former bandmate Jay McGuiness, who won the series back in 2015.

ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' newsreader Ranvir Singh revealed her involvement this morning while appearing on her breakfast show.

Clara Amfo is the fifth celebrity joining the lineup. The radio DJ has been a staple of the BBC Radio 1 since 2015, taking over from Fearne Cotton.

And finally, double Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams is believed to be part of the first same-sex coupling for this year's show. The former professional boxer won gold for Great Britain at both the London 2012 Olympics and the Rio 2016 games.

These are just the first six celebrities to be announced, so expect more of the 'Strictly Come Dancing' lineup to be revealed very soon.
No official air date has been confirmed by the BBC, but the series is expected to kick off in late October.
