It's not quite time for the official announcements about who will be on the 'Strictly Come Dancing' lineup, but The Sun has revealed that Steps star Faye Tozer will be one of the celebs on the show, despite having years of experience as a dancer.
Faye, who was one-fifth of hit '90s group Steps, has danced in numerous stage shows including 'Singin’ in the Rain', 'Over the Rainbow' and 'Tell Me on a Sunday'.
Her CV says she has experience in the likes of ballet, ballroom, burlesque, salsa and tap. It means she will no doubt be great to watch on the floor but is it an unfair advantage?
Some people think so and in the past the BBC have been criticised for bringing on celebs with prior dance experience. A TV insider told The Sun: "Few in the past have had quite so much professional performance time as Faye.
"Everyone expects her to be a strong contender but it will raise more questions over whether it’s fair for someone who has danced professionally to be up against people with no experience."
When asked about the line-up the BBC said: "We do not comment on speculation, the full 'Strictly' lineup will be announced in due course."
