With a reading of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven', no less.

As the US enters the final days of its Presidential Election, 'SNL' and Jim Carrey as Joe Biden are taking part in their final show before the votes are called.

Unlike this time four years ago, this time around it sees the candidate warning people of the very real possibility that it might not go as planned, even though the polls all seem to suggest that Biden is going to win by a landslide.

The cold open sees Biden reading Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven', though the raven takes the form of Hillary Clinton (played by Kate McKinnon, of course), while a few recognisable faces turn up along the way, including Ice Cube and 'Lil Wayne, but surprisingly, no Trump / Alec Baldwin to be found anywhere in the sketch.

All in all, it's a pretty OK sketch, but really, when all this bullshit is over in the US, 'SNL' really needs to take a long, hard look at itself and wonder if they haven't utterly beaten the whole political comedy to death over the past four years

Take a look.
