If you haven't watched Community on Netflix, you seriously need to sort that out right now.

It's consistently been one of the funniest TV shows of the last five years. With its unique blend of meta humour, clever pop culture references and hilarious one-liners, it's been compared to the likes of 30 Rock and several more.

With the long-awaited sixth season beginning tomorrow in the US on Yahoo!, we felt needed a quick reminder of how great this show is.

If, however, you haven't watched Community, don't worry - we've compiled six reasons why you should start watching it right this instant.

6. DONALD GLOVER AKA CHILDISH GAMBINO IS IN IT

If you're a hip-hop head, you'll already know that Donald Glover's other project, Childish Gambino, was put on hold to allow Community to film. Glover has since left Community during the fifth season to begin touring as Childish Gambino. Glover's pretty much kept his rap career and acting career separate, never once referencing it throughout the season. Still, he's got serious krumping skills.

5. THERE WAS AN ENTIRE EPISODE SET INSIDE A VIDEOGAME

Yes, really. In one of the later episodes, it's discovered that Chevy Chase's character, Pierce Hawthorne, must play a videogame with his friends in order to win his inheritance. The episode was such a hit with fans that they actually made a real-life version of the game. Amazing.

4. THERE'S BEEN A TON OF SPECIAL GUEST STARS

Jonathan Banks AKA Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad had a recurring role in the fifth season. Giancarlo Esposito, better known as Gus from Breaking Bad, also had a guest-starring role. John Goodman, Brie Larson, Hilary Duff, Betty White, Vince Gilligan (the creator of Breaking Bad), Matt Lucas from Little Britain, Patton Oswalt, Brie Larson and - wait for it - LEVAR BURTON.

3. KEN JEONG FROM THE HANGOVER IS ALSO IN IT

And his character is amazing. He plays Chang, a Spanish teacher who becomes a student who becomes a security guard who then leads a coup over the college and then gets amnesia. Or he calls it, Chang-nesia. This show is incredible.

2. THE CONSTANT REFERENCES TO OTHER TV SHOWS

Abed, one of the main characters, actually knows that he's in a TV show. Not only that, he makes references to different aspects of the show and - get this - he turned up in ANOTHER TV show, Cougar Town. As Abed.

1. DEAN PELTON IS ONE OF THE GREATEST COMEDIC CHARACTERS EVER WRITTEN

Seriously.  If it's not his increasingly outlandish costume changes, it's the fact that he's got a serious man-crush on Joel McHale's character. And, y'know, he's very, very funny.
