Naaaw, Sean Lock and Jon Richardson just can't get enough of each other on 8 Out of 10 Cats, so they're dumping Jimmy and going to do a travel show together called Hillbilly Holiday. It will, of course, be broadcast on Channel 4.
Somewhere, Bill Bailey is doing a bit of a jig, 'cause himself and Sean Lock did a similar trip before, but with more drugs and no camera crew so they couldn't make a TV show about it.
The series will comprise of three hour-long shows in which they will go gator-hunting in Swamps in Louisiana, pan for gold and brew their own moonshine up the mountains somewhere.
A Channel 4 spokesman said: "Staying a week in each location, they will need to win over the locals who often ain't too keen on outsiders. They'll need to pepper the gumbos of red-necked survivalists, dill the pickles of Baptist snake-handlers and be educated in the ways of a nudist hog-trapper."
A rather more informal Channel 4 mouthpiece, this time the head of Factual Programming said: "Lucky bastards! It's one of the hardest parts of a commissioner's job to send other people on journeys you'd really like to go on. But we'll make sure they have a properly hard time and insist that it's all got a profound anthropological purpose."
