*Fist in mouth*
The US version of the celebrity singing competition reached new lows this season with the reveal of the disgraced former New York City Mayor.
It finally happened - Rudy Giuliani was unmasked on 'The Masked Singer' in the US, prompting judge Ken Jeong to walk off stage.
This seventh season, hosted by Nick Cannon and featuring judging panellists Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke, is subtitled "The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly". The likes of Ryan Reynolds, Sarah Palin, Caitlyn Jenner and Rob Schneider have been revealed in past seasons, however, no-one could have guessed that Giuliani would have ever been part of the line-up. Or deemed "cuddly" *shivers*.
Earlier this year, word spread that the former aide to Donald Trump, who has been caught up in multiple federal investigations, would appear on the show. According to reports, his appearance prompted judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke to walk off stage.
However, it appears it was just Jeong who decided he'd had enough of the disgraced former attorney's singing. He said "I'm done" as the contestant once again began to sing 'Bad to the Bone' as the Jack in the Box at the end of the latest episode.
It appears that the audience reaction is fabricated somewhat by Fox, as social distancing was in place; the reaction to Rudy Giuliani being unmasked is not as genuine as it seems.
I do feel bad for any audience members from previous seasons who were edited into any of clips cheering for when the mark came off pic.twitter.com/YQqqEr5eiW

Lest we forget, Giuliani is featured in a pivotal moment in Prime Video's 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm', where he agrees to an interview with Borat's daughter, Tutar (Maria Bakalova, aged 24 at the time). Disguised as a reporter, she invites him to her "private" hotel room where he lies on her bed and appears to reach inside his trousers. The moment is then interrupted by Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) who screams: "She 15. She too old for you."
Writing on Twitter following the film's release, Giuliani said: "The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.
"At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar."
Here's some of the backlash from viewers following Rudy Giuliani's reveal on 'The Masked Singer'.
