Between the census and the new season of Game of Thrones, and NOW the X Factor auditions, April 24th is set to be one RAMMED day.
While outlets have been reporting on this fact since the end of March, there seems to be renewed interest in this today, with Ireland AM making it their leading Entertainment News on their ticker feed.
So, should you fancy a last ditch attempt at a very public singing career, just turn up to RDS Simmons Court, in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 from 9am on Sunday April 24th. If you're unable to make that, you can either register online and turn up at another city holding open auditions, or you can send in an audition video via application.xfactor.tv/
In case you're sitting on the fence regarding whether you want to expose yourself on telly across Ireland and the UK, here's Dermot to help change your mind (he's just been on a "lovely holiday" after getting some, eh, time off while Caroline Flack and Olly Murs tried their hands at hosting the live show. And we all know how that turned out). If things go well, you could be the next Wagner (last seen ringing rebel songs online) or - at the very least - you could get a hug off the man himself.
It may be worth doing for the O'Leary Love alone...
