It's been six years since we last saw Michael Scofield and his bro on a mission to do a Shawshank and break out of prison, and now it looks like the show could be returning for a limited run series, similar to how 24 did last year, and of course The X Files next year.
According to Deadline the show's creator and executive producer Paul Scheuring is "interested" in a comeback and has a new escape storyline in mind.
Although nothing is official yet, stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are expected to return, while they are also hoping many of the original cast members will make cameos too.
Purcell and Wentworth haven't been up to a whole lot since - although Miller has a main role in DC's Legends of Tomorrow while he's also a recurring villain in The Flash as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold.
While Dominic Purcell has also appeared in DC's The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow funnily enough, as well as in Blade: Trinity.
As excited as we are about all these shows coming back, there's always the worry that they will taint the original but given the popularity of this series at the time, no doubt it'll do well.
