Loads of new content is coming our way
The American streaming service has cracked the European market.
All of the content created for NBCUniversal's streaming service Peacock over the past year and a half will be available on Sky TV and NOW from tomorrow, Tuesday, November 16.
This means that the likes of the 'Saved by the Bell' sequel/reboot series, comedy series 'Girls5eva' and other classic TV shows like 'The Office' and 'Will & Grace' will be available from Sky TV and NOW. The thousands of extra hours of TV and movies will be available to customers at no additional cost.
Beginning with a soft launch in Ireland and the UK this week, all of the current titles will be available as well as all of the upcoming content for the streaming service. On the horizon on Peacock in the near future are the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' reboot, 'Bel-Air', as well as other titles like the 'Joe Exotic' series, 'MacGruber', 'Vampire Academy', 'The Innocent', 'Ted', and 'Battlestar Galactica'.
Prior to this new collaboration, Sky TV and NOW already had a select range of NBC's TV shows and movies on offer, including 'A.P. Bio', 'Mr. Mayor' and 'Saturday Night Live'. 'Quantum Leap', 'Suits', 'Downton Abbey' and 'Below Deck' will all now be added to their collection.
Peacock will continue to roll out the content destination across Sky platforms in territories including Germany, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland in the coming months, making the service available to almost 20 million Sky customers in total.
Sky TV and NOW already have a partnership with HBO, which sees them have the latest TV series such as 'Succession', 'And Just Like That...' and 'Scenes From A Marriage' available a day after their US debuts.
