The series lands on BBC iPlayer next month, with an RTÉ date yet to be announced.
Although it was just confirmed yesterday that 'Normal People' will air on RTÉ, the release date for BBC Three and US streaming service Hulu has been confirmed today as April 26th and April 29th respectively.
The series, directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Hettie McDonald, is adapted from Sally Rooney's novel and is fast becoming one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Set in contemporary Ireland, it follows the tumultuous relationship of two young people - Marianne and Connell - and the nature of intimacy and sexuality.
Already, a second season - based on 'Conversations With People', Rooney's follow-up novel - has been announced with Abrahamson, McDonald and Rooney slated to return in their respective roles. So far, it's not yet known when 'Normal People' will air on RTÉ.
In the meantime, here's the new trailer.
