The former UKIP leader said he has been sent a contract
It's almost that time of year again - and no doubt we'll soon be hearing about the celebrities (and non-celebrities, let's be honest) that are entering the jungle for 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'
Ant and Dec recently teased the show's return, with the first episode of the new series rumoured to be kicking off on November 19th (TBC).
The reality series will once again be filmed in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, although this year's contestants have yet to be revealed.
One potential name in the ring, however, is controversial UK politician Nigel Farage - who would undoubtedly stir things up in the camp.
Farage has been asked onto the show in the past but has declined - but told viewers on GB News last night that he had been sent a contract and is considering this year's offer.
"Unlike previous years, I am giving it very, very serious consideration," he said. "Why? Well you’ve got about 10million young people who watch that programme. These are people who don’t really watch the news or read newspapers, but they still care about the country they live in and their futures, and actually, in many ways, the futures of young people in Britain had been blighted."
He added: "They haven’t got the same opportunities that their parents and grandparents had and they’d love to look for solutions. So in my mind, if I was to do it, I might be able to connect with that audience, because goodness me they all watch I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!"
It's not known whether Farage was serious or not, but some viewers have already threatened to boycott this year's show if he takes part.
