R.I.P.
As reported last week, Naya Rivera went missing after a boat trip with her son in Southern California.
Yesterday, the Ventura County Sheriff confirmed that a body recovered in Lake Piru is that of Naya Rivera.
The 33 year-old star of 'Glee' went missing on July 8th. Her 4 year-old son Josie had been discovered sleeping alone in a boat they had rented for the afternoon.
Police were searching for Rivera since. Sheriff Deputy Chris Dyer confirmed that there were "no signs of foul play" and "no signs of anything that went wrong besides a tragic accident."
Since announcing the news, Rivera's former co-stars have expressed their grief on Instagram and Twitter.
Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz, Demi Lovato, Kristen Chenoweth and Ricky Martin are among the many who have paid tributes.
Other colleagues, friends and admirers shared beautiful words too.

She played by her own rules and was in a class of her own. She had a brashness about her that I couldn’t help but be enchanted by. I also always loved her voice, and savored every chance I got to hear her sing. I think she had more talent than we would have ever been able to see.

And even as I sit here, struggling to comprehend, gutted beyond description- the very thought of her cracks me up and still brings a smile to my face. That was Naya’s gift.
And it's a gift that will never go away.
Rest in peace you wild, hilarious, beautiful angel.— Darren Criss (@DarrenCriss) July 14, 2020
