Staying in this weekend? Sure you are. Here's our picks of the movies on TV this weekend.

Saturday - Channel 4

7.00pm - Titanic

We're highlighting this as who doesn't want to see hundreds of CGI people die on a Saturday evening? It's also a handy way of seeing just how much James Cameron has progressed in the last few years. If the story has managed to pass you by; a party of explorers studying the sunken ruins of the famous liner meets an elderly woman who was a passenger on the ill-fated voyage. She recounts how, while on the brink of being forced into marriage by her family, she met and fell in love with a penniless artist - but an iceberg shaped disaster on the horizon meant their time together was doomed to be short. Tons of Oscars, it's a cultural phenomenon. Roll on Celine Dion.

Sunday - TV3

9.00pm - Munich

Steven Spielberg directs an ensemble cast that includes Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, Ciaran Hinds and Matthieu Kassovitz and deals with the assassination of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics and the Israeli government's response to it. Bana leads a team of IDF operatives who are sent to Europe to hunt down the terrorists and dispatch them in brutal fashion, but soon find that blood begets blood. It does have an epic run-time - twenty minutes shy of three hours - but Spielberg tries his best to come at the material in an honest and compelling way.

Monday - TG4

9.30pm - Escape Plan

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone team up in this could-have-been-amazing-but-it's-not-that-bad action film about high-tech prison and (you guessed it) an escape plan to get out. You've also got Jim Caviezel hamming it up as the warden and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson in there as well, but more than any of that is the sight of Arnold Schwarzenegger grabbing a gigantic machine gun towards the end of the film and going to town on a load of bad guys. Worth it just for that scene alone, to be honest.
